This Cookie Policy explains how Zumi Global LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on https://zumiglobal.amai.run (the "Site"), and the choices available to you. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to recognize your device, remember choices you have made, and, in some cases, track activity across sites over time. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in a comparable way without necessarily taking the form of a traditional cookie file. A cookie by itself is a neutral piece of technology, it is what a site chooses to store in it, and how long it keeps that data, that determines whether a given cookie raises a privacy concern, and this Policy exists so you can see exactly what we have chosen to do with that technology on this Site.
Zumi Global is a consulting and marketing business, and part of the judgment we bring to client work is knowing which tracking is actually necessary and which is not. We apply the same discipline to our own Site: we use the smallest set of cookies that lets the Site function well, and we do not add cookies simply because a tool makes it easy to.
We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies on the Site.
Strictly Necessary. Required for the Site to function, such as remembering your cookie-consent choice so we do not ask again on every visit. These cannot be disabled through our cookie banner because the Site cannot function properly without them.
Functional. Used to remember preferences that improve your experience, such as your selected language (English or Spanish), so you do not need to reselect it on every page.
Analytics. Where enabled, used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay, so we can improve the Site's content and structure. Where we use an analytics tool, we favor privacy-focused options that avoid cross-site identifiers and that report in aggregate rather than building an individual profile of a specific visitor. If we introduce a new analytics or measurement tool in the future, we will update this Policy and the cookie inventory in Section 4 before that tool begins operating on the Site, so this document always reflects what is actually running.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on this Site on our own behalf, and we do not sell data collected through Site cookies.
The list below describes the individual cookies currently in use on the Site.
Some functionality on the Site, such as an embedded scheduling tool used to book a discovery call, may be provided by a third-party service that sets its own cookies subject to its own privacy and cookie policies. We select such tools carefully and configure them to collect no more than necessary, but we do not control how a third party processes data once it leaves the Site through that tool.
On your first visit to the Site, a cookie banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies, currently limited to the functional and analytics categories described above. You can accept or decline, and you can change your choice later by clearing your browser's cookies for this Site and revisiting it, which will show the banner again. Strictly necessary cookies are used regardless of this choice, because without them the Site cannot remember your consent choice or function correctly.
Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies, such as the language-preference and cookie-consent cookies described above, remain on your device for a set period, generally up to twelve months, or until you delete them.
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner described above. You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings, including blocking cookies entirely or deleting cookies already stored on your device. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site functions, including preventing your language preference or consent choice from being remembered. Most browsers also let you view a list of the individual cookies currently stored for a site, which you can compare against the inventory in Section 4 if you want to confirm exactly what is present on your own device.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how a website should respond to this signal, the Site does not currently change its behavior when it detects one, beyond the consent choices described in Section 6.
The Site and the cookies described here are not directed to children, consistent with the approach described in our Privacy Policy.
If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, cookie and consent rules in your own jurisdiction may differ from those described here. We aim to apply the consent-based approach in Section 6 consistently for all visitors regardless of location, in addition to meeting our obligations under applicable United States law.
This Cookie Policy covers only the Site, https://zumiglobal.amai.run. When Zumi Global configures advertising pixels, conversion tags, or cookies on a client's own website as part of a Services Engagement, those cookies are governed by that client's own cookie policy and privacy policy, not by this document, because the client, not Zumi Global, operates that website and controls the relationship with its own visitors.
Many modern browsers include built-in privacy features beyond individual cookie deletion, such as Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention, Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection, and support for the Global Privacy Control signal in some browsers and extensions. These features may limit or block certain cookies automatically before you ever see our cookie banner. We do not override or attempt to defeat these browser-level protections, and the Site is designed to function with them enabled.
Before adding a cookie to the Site, we consider whether the same functionality can be achieved without one. The language toggle and consent banner described above are the only preferences we currently believe are worth remembering across visits; other functionality on the Site works without setting any cookie at all.
A few terms used throughout this Policy are defined here for clarity.
Session cookie: a cookie that is stored only for the duration of a single browsing session and is deleted automatically when the browser is closed.
Persistent cookie: a cookie that remains stored on your device for a set period, or until manually deleted, so that it can be read again on a later visit.
First-party cookie: a cookie set by the website you are visiting directly, in this case zumiglobal.amai.run.
Third-party cookie: a cookie set by a domain other than the one you are visiting, typically placed by an embedded tool such as a scheduling widget.
Local storage: a browser storage mechanism similar in purpose to a persistent cookie, used by some modern web applications to store small amounts of data on your device.
When you accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner described in Section 6, that choice is itself stored as the zg_consent cookie described in Section 4, so the Site can honor your preference on later visits without asking again. If you clear that cookie, or visit from a different browser or device, the banner will appear again and ask for your choice.
Cookie technology and browser privacy standards continue to evolve, including industry moves toward phasing out certain types of third-party cookies and toward standardized consent signals. We monitor these changes as part of keeping the Site's own practices current, and we will update this Policy and the Site's cookie behavior as needed to remain consistent with how browsers actually handle cookies over time.
Many business websites include advertising or retargeting pixels so that a visitor can later be shown an ad elsewhere on the web. We have chosen not to run that kind of cookie on the Site. Visitors evaluating a marketing consultancy are often themselves marketers, and we would rather be judged on the clarity of what we say than on how effectively we can follow a visitor around the internet afterward.
We review this Cookie Policy whenever we add, remove, or change a cookie or similar technology on the Site, and at least once a year even if nothing has changed, to confirm that the description here still matches what the Site actually does.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes in more detail how we handle personal information collected through the Site, and our Terms of Use, which govern any actual engagement for Services.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal reasons. We will post the updated policy on the Site with a new effective date.
